These terms are under legal review and may be updated. We will post any changes here.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by HIS Pods, Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity ("HIS Pods," "we," "us"). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our work, give, contact us and apply for the HIS Pods school platform. Please do not misuse it: do not attempt to interfere with its security or operation, submit false or harmful information, or impersonate another person.

3. Gifts to HIS Pods, Inc.

  • Gifts are made on our secure giving site, donate.hispods.com, and are governed by its terms and refund policy.
  • HIS Pods, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts are tax-deductible in the United States as allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution. Deductibility outside the United States depends on local law.
  • You choose where your gift goes: building the new school, curriculum and technology, or where needed most. We use gifts for the purpose you choose.
  • Giving levels describe gift amounts. They do not purchase a specific item or a number of building blocks.

4. Named spaces and major gifts

Space and naming opportunities and their amounts are offered subject to availability. Recognition, naming and any other terms of a major gift take effect only under a written gift agreement signed by HIS Pods, Inc.

5. Plans, renderings and photos

Architectural renderings show planned spaces and are for illustration; final buildings may differ. Construction photos show work in progress. Descriptions of curriculum and technology in development describe our plans, not released products.

6. Referral links

Supporters may share personal giving links so we can see which gifts they helped bring in. A referral link does not create a partnership, agency or right to payment. Any compensation requires a separate written agreement with HIS Pods, Inc.

7. The HIS Pods school platform

Schools that use the HIS Pods learning management and student information systems do so under their own written agreement with HIS Pods, which governs that service. Product screens on this site show sample data.

8. Family learning pilot

These terms apply to families who create an account in the HIS Pods curriculum pilot.

8.1 The trial. New accounts begin with a seven-day free trial. We do not require a payment method to begin the trial. If you do not add a payment method during the trial, your access pauses on day eight and your data is preserved for ninety days.

8.2 Founding-family pricing. Founding-family pricing, 50% off our standard rate, is available to the first 1,000 families to subscribe and is locked in for the life of the subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the founding-family discount may no longer be available.

8.3 Subscription, billing and cancellation. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected) at the price you signed up at (subject to 8.2). You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods. Refunds outside of these terms are at our discretion and we will issue them in good faith for clear product or billing errors.

8.4 Acceptable use. You agree to use HIS Pods only for personal or institutional educational purposes consistent with our mission. You may not (a) reverse engineer or extract our content for redistribution, (b) use HIS Pods to train competing AI models, (c) attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the service, or (d) impersonate another person.

8.5 Curriculum and Christian formation. HIS Pods integrates Christian worldview and Scripture across its curriculum. Our content reflects historic, creedal Christianity and is intended to support, not replace, the discipleship work of the family or local church. We do not require denominational alignment to enroll.

8.6 License. Subscribers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for the subscriber family's or institution's own educational purposes during the subscription period.

9. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, photographs, renderings, curriculum materials, software and the HIS Pods name and logo, belongs to HIS Pods, Inc. or its partners. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use; please ask before reusing our content or marks.

10. Disclaimers

This site and our services are provided "as is." We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Educational outcomes vary by student; we do not guarantee specific learning results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. This does not affect gifts, which are governed by the giving site's terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time and will post changes on this page. Material changes to the family learning pilot terms will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least thirty days before they take effect, except where a change is required for legal or security reasons.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lee or Pinellas County, Florida.
