FROM CHURCH HOME TO DEDICATED CAMPUS

We’ve outgrown the church.

Horizon International School opened in 2023 inside Horizon Church in Jacó. Three years later, nearly 100 students from kindergarten through grade 12 learn there, in classrooms that were never built for a full school day.

HIS teaches an American-style curriculum, with Spanish and social studies taught in Spanish to meet the standards of Costa Rica’s Ministry of Public Education (MEP). The new campus gives the school room to keep growing.

HIS Pods, Inc. is raising the funds for the campus, which will be home to Horizon International School.

WHY JACÓ

A safe place to learn and grow in faith.

Jacó is a beach town built on tourism. For the children who grow up here, that brings real pressures early, from drugs and alcohol to exploitation. Families want a school that forms character as well as minds. Horizon Church started HIS to be that school, and in three years nearly 100 students have enrolled.

“We were not only looking for a great education, but also a healthy and safe environment for him to be in. Every time we pick him up from school, he’s just so happy, and he talks for hours and tells stories about school, and that is just something that we’ve never seen before.”

“She has grown in her studies and her faith, because learning about God gives her a lot of character, and that’s helpful to her life.”

EVERY GIFT HAS A PLACE

Help build it, block by block.

You can join the campaign at a level meaningful to your family. These are giving levels, not claims that a gift purchases a fixed number of physical blocks.

THE ARCHITECTURAL VISION

See the spaces your support helps make possible.

Concept renderings are labeled as renderings so donors can distinguish planned spaces from completed construction.
